Armacell's Class O Armaflex pipe insulation is crafted from flexible, closed cell, elastomeric nitrile rubber, ideal for various pipe insulation applications. It's easy to install over pipes for hot and cold water, refrigerated pipework, ductwork, and chilled water lines. This flexible, durable product prevents frost on pipes, conserves energy, and controls condensation, limiting costly damage. Armaflex insulation is dust and fibre free, featuring a vapor barrier for enhanced energy-saving. Anti-microbial protection reduces mold and bacteria growth. It boasts excellent fire safety with zero surface flame spread, suitable for thermal bridging, and offers some acoustic insulation by reducing noise from water and air in pipes. It has thermal conductivity of 0.034 W/mK at 0C, 0.036 W/mK at 20C, and 0.038 W/mK at 40C, available in 2m lengths, with various sizes and thicknesses.
