Amazon Extra fine teeth for the tear area: close enough to lift the dried crust and discharge that collects under the eye, which a normal comb passes straight over. Safe around the eye: rounded, finished tips and a small head, so you can work close to the eye with control. Always comb outwards and downwards, away from the eye itself. The half of tear stain care people skip: a cleaner dissolves the residue, but the hardened crust has to be physically lifted out. Doing only one of the two is why stains come back. For the breeds that live with it: Maltese, Bichon, Shih Tzu, Pekingese, Poodle, Persian cats - any white or light-coated face that marks. Use it with Pretty Eyes: soften the area with the cleaner first, then comb the loosened debris out. Made in Spain by ARTERO, manufacturing professional grooming tools since 1909.
