HANDMADE A1 RAG PAPER – 20 loose A1 sheets of 250gsm 100% cotton paper (approx. 594 x 841mm), our largest sheet size. Ideal for large-scale paintings and exhibition work. Each sheet is handmade with its own natural deckled edge. 100% COTTON & VEGAN – Made from 100% cotton offcuts, not wood pulp, for long, strong fibres that stand up to wet washes. Gently sized with a gelatine-free solution, so it's vegan, and acid-free with a neutral pH so your work won't yellow. MID TEXTURE SURFACE – A gently toothed surface that holds watercolour and gouache washes and grips graphite, charcoal and soft pastel. For oils, prime with gesso first; stretch larger sheets before heavy washes. PRINTMAKING & LARGE WORK – Takes hand-pressed lino and block prints at full scale, and the deckled edges make a striking feature on display pieces, wedding welcome signs and seating plans. Not suitable for inkjet or laser printers. MADE BY ARTISANS IN INDIA – Every sheet is made by local craftspeople in Northern India using traditional papermaking methods, then wrapped in recycled kraft paper instead of plastic.
