HANDMADE A3 RAG PAPER – 20 loose A3 sheets of 250gsm 100% cotton paper (approx. 297 x 420mm), a classic framing and portfolio size. Ideal for detailed illustrations and framed work. Each sheet is handmade with its own natural deckled edge. 100% COTTON & VEGAN – Made from 100% cotton offcuts, not wood pulp, for long, strong fibres that stand up to wet washes. Gently sized with a gelatine-free solution, so it's vegan, and acid-free with a neutral pH so your work won't yellow. SMOOTH TEXTURE SURFACE – Smoother than our Mid Texture, so pen, ink and calligraphy nibs glide without catching and fine detail stays crisp. Also takes watercolour, gouache and graphite; prime with gesso for oils and stretch larger sheets first. PRINTMAKING & FRAMED WORK – The smooth face picks up fine detail from lino and block prints, and suits framed calligraphy, hand-lettered menus and table plans. Not suitable for inkjet or laser printers. MADE BY ARTISANS IN INDIA – Every sheet is made by local craftspeople in Northern India using traditional papermaking methods, then wrapped in recycled kraft paper instead of plastic.
