Asafoetida Powder Spice Hing 100g

A dried powder made from that of giant fennel, with a pungent, savoury aroma and flavour. A diluted strength of asafoetida powder, this is mixed with flour to mellow the flavour. This is often used to replace onion and garlic in Indian cooking. Add to curries, sauces and pasta dishes to add a strong savoury taste.
