High-quality workmanship: the banjo from Ashthorpe has a neck made of mahogany and hardwood fingerboard with finely maintained, smooth-fitting frets. The body is made of mahogany with a high gloss finish. The closed resonator can be easily removed, so this banjo can be played open again. Designed with a 5-ply maple and mahogany shell, a 5-ply maple rim, 15:1 ratio toothed tuning pegs with high quality tuning pegs and an adjustable hinged tailpiece and chrome plated armrests.
