The Atom Caution Safety Notice Hot Water Labels are adhesive and designed to be placed on outlets where the water drawn carries a risk of scolding. Following the discovery of Legionnaires disease, a potentially fatal type of pneumionia caused by inhaling airbourne water droplets containing Legionella Bacteria, owners of commercial premises are recommended to maintain stored hot water temperatures above 60C to stop production of said bacteria.
