HAWX PRIME 100 BOA is a ski boot with a flex rating of 100, this boot strikes a balance between responsiveness and forgiveness, suitable for intermediate to advanced skiers who appreciate stable control without undue stiffness. Constructed with Atomic’s Prolite technology, the boot combines targeted reinforcement and lightweight materials to enhance power transmission while keeping weight manageable. This approach ensures a close fit that supports natural movement and reduces fatigue during long days skiing. The Adaptive Fit System (AFS) in the cuff allows for a personalised fit around the lower leg, promoting comfort and precise control. Meanwhile, the Energy Backbone feature adds rigidity along the boot’s spine, improving energy transfer and responsiveness on varied terrain.A key convenience comes from the BOA® closure system, which offers quick and easy micro-adjustments with a simple turn, eliminating pressure points often caused by conventional buckles. This system helps maintain a consistent hold throughout the day, adapting as needed. Additional functional elements include the GripWalk soles for enhanced traction when walking on snow or icy surfaces, improving safety off skis. The Cuff Alignment feature assists in fine-tuning boot positioning, ensuring better stance and balance according to individual skier biomechanics.
