The subtle yellow colour and durable structure provide consistent scent release, making them ideal for any rig and fishing over various bait presentations. AVID CARP Wafters Scopex | Critically Balanced Hookbaits for Ultimate PresentationElevate your angling and gain that critical edge with the AVID CARP Wafters in the legendary Scopex flavour. Meticulously designed for the discerning angler who understands that presentation is paramount, these hookbaits are engineered to outwit the most cautious and pressured carp. When standard bottom baits are ignored and high-flying pop-ups seem too obvious, the Scopex Wafter provides the perfect, subtle deception needed to secure a take. The primary benefit of these hookbaits lies in their precisely controlled buoyancy. Unlike standard bottom baits that can get lost in silt or light debris, and distinct from fully buoyant Pop Ups that sit high off the lakebed, a wafter offers the best of both worlds. The AVID CARP Scopex Wafter is engineered to be critically balanced, meaning it will sink very slowly on its own but will be perfectly counteracted by the weight of your chosen hook. The result is a hookbait that hovers tantalisingly just above the lakebed or sits weightlessly on top of your groundbait, mimicking a natural, free-offering that has drifted into the swim. This neutral buoyancy makes it incredibly easy for a feeding carp to inhale, leading to more confident pick-ups and stronger hook holds. At the heart of this bait is the timeless and undeniably effective Scopex flavour. This sweet, creamy, and buttery aroma has a proven track record spanning decades, responsible for the capture of countless specimen carp across the globe. The instantly recognisable scent profile provides a powerful, long-lasting signal that fish find simply irresistible. AVID CARP has perfected this classic attractor, ensuring maximum leakage into the water column from the moment the bait is introduced, creating a compelling scent trail that draws fish in from a wide area and stimulates a strong feeding response.Crafted for consistency and performance, each wafter in the tub offers the same reliable buoyancy and potent aroma. The washed-out, subtle yellow colour provides a crucial visual stimulus without being overly bright or alarming to wary fish, making it an excellent choice for clear water conditions or for targeting fish that have seen it all. Their durable yet porous structure allows them to be pierced or tied onto a hair rig with ease, while continuously releasing their attractive scent for extended periods. Whether you are fishing a simple hair rig, a German rig, or a popular spinner rig, these wafters will present your hook perfectly every time. They are an exceptional choice for fishing over beds of particles, spod mix, or pellets, creating a standout hookbait that is sure to be the first one a carp investigates.Technical Specifications:* Product: AVID CARP Wafters* Bait Type: Critically Balanced Wafter Hookbait* Flavour Profile: Scopex (Sweet, Creamy, Buttery Aroma)* Buoyancy: Neutral / Critically Balanced (Designed to counteract the weight of the hook for a natural presentation)* Colour: Washed-Out Yellow / Pale Cream for subtle visual attraction* Application: Ideal for various rigs including Hair Rigs, German Rigs, and Spinner Rigs* Recommended Use: Perfect for solid bag fishing, fishing over spod mix, or as a single hookbait. tradeinn Waveinn
