B+w 1100755 82 Mm Polarizing Filter. B+W 1100755 82 mm MRC Polarizing Filter | Master Light and ColourElevate your photography and videography to a professional standard with the B+W 1100755 82 mm Polarizing Filter. A crucial tool for any serious image-maker, this universal polarizing filter with high optical quality is engineered to unlock the true potential of your scenes. By selectively managing reflected light, it dramatically enhances your images directly in-camera, giving you a creative edge and saving valuable time in post-production. It is an indispensable filter for landscape, architectural, and outdoor photography, designed to bring out the vibrancy and detail that glare and haze often obscure. The primary power of this polarizing filter lies in its remarkable ability to control and reduce reflections from a variety of non-metallic surfaces. Imagine capturing a crystal-clear view through a shop window, revealing the details of the display inside without distracting glare. Picture a serene lake scene where you can see the smooth stones beneath the water´s surface, or lush forest foliage where the waxy sheen on leaves is minimized to reveal their rich texture and colour. This filter gives you that control, transforming flat, washed-out surfaces into subjects with depth and dimension.Beyond managing reflections, this B+W filter is renowned for its capacity to increase colour saturation and contrast. Witness skies transform from a pale, hazy light blue into a deep, dramatic azure, with clouds popping in brilliant white contrast. Green foliage becomes richer and more saturated, and the overall colour palette of your image gains a punch and vividness that is both natural and striking. Crucially, this enhancement is achieved while remaining colour-neutral to the optimum extent, a hallmark of B+W´s German engineering. You can trust that the filter will not introduce any unwanted colour cast, preserving the authentic tones of your scene while simply making them better.Designed for the modern photographer, this filter is built for performance and ease of use. The fast and easy alignment is made possible by an optimized knurl on the precision-milled brass mount. This provides a superb, tactile grip that allows for smooth and precise rotation to dial in the exact amount of polarization needed for your shot, even while wearing gloves. Furthermore, easier attachment and removal are ensured due to a new coating technology, which prevents the filter from binding to your lens threads—a common frustration with lesser-quality filters.Versatility is at the core of its design. It is perfectly suitable for wide angle to telephoto lenses, with a construction that minimizes the risk of vignetting (darkening of the corners) on even very wide focal lengths. Its compatibility is unmatched, as it is designed for all cameras with and without internal metering, ensuring that your camer´s autofocus and light metering systems function flawlessly. The filter´s durability and optical purity are second to none, thanks to its advanced MRC (Multi-Resistant Coating). This sophisticated multi-layer coating provides superior anti-reflection properties to maximize light transmission and prevent ghosting and flare. It also creates an incredibly tough, scratch-resistant outer layer and a final hydrophobic layer that repels water, dirt, and oily fingerprints, making it exceptionally easy to clean and maintain in the field.
