B+w Nd 1.8 Mrc Nano Master 49 Mm Polarizing Filter. .8 Mrc Nano Master 49 mm Filter:Capture Stunning Long Exposures with the B+W 49mm MASTER ND 1.8 MRC Nano FilterUnleash your creative potential and gain ultimate control over light with the B+W 49mm MASTER ND 1.8 MRC Nano filter. This professional-grade neutral density (ND) filter is a premium tool engineered in Germany by Schneider-Kreuznach, designed for discerning photographers and videographers who demand uncompromising optical quality and creative flexibility, even in the brightest conditions. This powerful grey filter provides a significant 6-stop light reduction, classifying it as an extreme filter perfect for ambitious pictorial photography. This substantial light-blocking capability allows you to dramatically slow down your camer´s shutter speed without needing to alter your aperture. By maintaining your chosen aperture, you preserve the precise depth of field you envisioned for your shot. For a practical example, this filter transforms a standard shutter speed of 1/60s into a full 1-second exposure, opening up a world of creative motion blur and time-lapse effects that are impossible to achieve otherwise. The primary application for this filter is to render motion in a beautifully artistic way. It is the key to achieving that iconic, silky-smooth effect on flowing water, transforming rushing rivers, waterfalls, and ocean waves into ethereal, misty textures. Beyond landscapes, it allows you to blur clouds streaking across the sky for dramatic effect or to make moving people and vehicles vanish from busy urban and architectural scenes, resulting in a clean, serene, and unpopulated image. Due to the significantly longer exposure times required, the use of a sturdy tripod is essential to ensure your static subjects remain perfectly sharp and blur-free.Part of the exclusive B+W MASTER line, this filter features a precision-engineered, thinner profile mount made from durable brass. This slim design is ideal for preventing vignetting (darkening of the corners) when used with wide-angle lenses. The mount´s improved knurling provides a superior grip for effortless attachment and removal, while the robust brass construction prevents binding and ensures a long, reliable service life.Experience legendary optical performance thanks to the state-of-the-art MRC Nano coating. This Multi-Resistant Coating features multiple layers on both sides of the high-quality glass, guaranteeing exceptional light transmission while effectively eliminating flare, ghosting, and reflections. The final outer layer is a revolutionary nano-coating that provides an incredibly durable protective barrier. It is both hydrophobic, causing water to bead up and roll right off the surface, and oleophobic, repelling oil, dirt, and fingerprints. This makes cleaning the filter exceptionally easy and fast, so you can focus on your craft. Crafted from the finest crystal-clear Schott glass, this filter ensures absolute color neutrality, preserving the true colors of your scene without the undesirable color cast often introduced by inferior filters.Features:* This B+W Grey Filter, which reduces the light by six f-stops (ND 1.8), is considered an extreme filter for creative and pictorial photography.* It allows you to extend exposure times dramatically, for example, it can turn a 1/60s shutter speed into a full 1-second exposure without changing the aperture (and thus, the depth of field).* Enables the delicate, silky rendering of flowing water, clouds, and other moving elements within your frame.* The use of a tripod is required in any case to ensure sharp, stable images during the long exposure.Specifications:* Filter Type: Neutral Density (Grey Filter)* Density: 1.8 (6-Stop Light Reduction)* Diameter (mm): 49. tradeinn Techinn
