B+W 1.8 MRC Nano Master 82mm Grey Filter (106) | 6-Stop NDUnlock a world of creative possibilities and gain ultimate control over light with the B+W 1.8 MRC Nano Master 82mm Grey Filter. Expertly engineered in Germany, this premium Neutral Density (ND) filter is an indispensable tool for photographers and videographers seeking to manipulate exposure time and depth of field without altering colour balance. It is designed for professionals and enthusiasts who demand uncompromising optical quality and superior handling. This B+W grey filter, which reduces the aperture by six f-stops, is already considered an extreme filter in pictorial photography. This turns 1/60 s into a full second exposure time without changing the aperture (and depth of field). This significant 64x light reduction empowers you to master challenging lighting conditions and introduce breathtaking motion blur into your images. Capture the dynamic movement of clouds streaking across the sky, or make bustling crowds vanish from architectural scenes. The primary creative application is in landscape photography, where flowing water is delicately rendered, transforming waterfalls, rivers, and ocean waves into a silky, ethereal mist.Built upon B+W´s legendary foundation of quality, the MASTER filter line features a precision-engineered mount made from durable brass. This ensures easy and secure attachment to your lens, preventing binding or seizing that can occur with lesser-quality aluminum mounts. The slim profile of the MASTER mount is optimized for use with wide-angle lenses, effectively minimizing the risk of vignetting. Its revised knurling provides an enhanced grip for confident handling in any weather condition. At the heart of this filter is flawless, colour-neutral optical glass. The image quality is preserved by B+W´s exclusive MRC Nano coating. This advanced Multi-Resistant Coating features an outer layer with hydrophobic properties, causing water to bead up and roll off effortlessly. It also repels dirt and oil, making fingerprints easy to wipe away and ensuring the filter stays cleaner for longer. The MRC Nano coating provides superior scratch resistance and anti-reflective properties, guaranteeing maximum light transmission and preventing ghosting and flare for crystal-clear, high-contrast images. To achieve the tack-sharp results and stability needed for these extended shutter speeds, a sturdy tripod is required in any case. The B+W 1.8 MRC Nano Master filter is the definitive choice for capturing stunning, artistic long-exposure imagery with exceptional clarity and colour fidelity.Specifications:* Filter Type: Neutral Density (ND)* Density: 1.8* F-Stop Reduction: 6 Stops* Filter Factor: 64x* Diameter (mm): 82* Coating: MRC Nano* Filter Mount: MASTER Brass Mount. tradeinn Techinn
