LIMITS THE OPENING TO A CHILD-SAFE GAP: The restrictor arm holds an outward-opening casement window at a fixed 7 cm gap, well under the 100 mm figure used for child safety in the UK. You keep fresh air and ventilation, while a toddler, child or cat cannot push the window any wider or climb through. The tamper-resistant design keeps curious little ones from releasing it. WIND PROOF, ALL YEAR ROUND: No more windows slamming on a windy day. The arm holds the window at 7 cm in both directions, so a strong gust cannot blow it wide open or bang it shut, and your home stays ventilated in every season. Weather proof and fixed with genuine 3M VHB high-bond adhesive tape, it withstands up to 30 kg of force. FITS UPVC, WOOD, METAL AND ALUMINIUM: Suits casement windows that open outwards, fitted vertically or horizontally, and the adhesive also bonds to glass. It needs a flat surface on both the frame and the opening sash: the base is 8.5 x 3.5 cm and the track is 20 cm long and 1.5 cm deep. Not suitable for sliding or sash windows, or for deeply bevelled or heavily textured frames. NO DRILLING, NO TOOLS, NO DAMAGE: Clean and dry the frame, peel the backing and press it in place, then leave it 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before use. It removes without lasting damage to the frame, which makes it ideal for renters, flats and upstairs bedrooms where drilling into the frame is not an option.
