BAHCO Professional Steel Pole Pruning Saw 360mmMaster high-reach pruning with unparalleled precision and power using the BAHCO Pole Pruning Saw. Engineered for professional arborists, forestry workers, and discerning gardeners, this manual tool is the ultimate solution for safely and efficiently managing tall branches that are otherwise out of reach. Say goodbye to precarious ladders and hello to stable, ground-level control. This saw is meticulously designed to deliver clean, fast cuts, promoting tree health while maximizing user safety and productivity. It embodies the robust quality and intelligent design that professionals expect from the BAHCO brand, turning a challenging task into a streamlined operation. The performance of this pruning saw begins with its exceptionally strong, curved blade. This design is not merely for aesthetics, the curve actively pulls the saw into the cut, allowing the teeth to bite deeper with every stroke. This results in significantly faster cutting with less effort compared to straight blades. The aggressive toothing pattern, optimized for green wood, clears material rapidly, ensuring a smooth and efficient sawing motion from start to finish. This saw doesn´t just cut, it glides through branches, making your work quicker and less fatiguing.A standout feature that sets this saw apart is the extended hook at the tip of the blade. This ingenious addition serves a critical dual purpose. Firstly, it prevents the blade from slipping out of the saw kerf during powerful push-and-pull strokes, especially when working at an angle. This enhances safety and keeps your cutting motion consistent and effective. Secondly, the robust hook is perfect for pulling down cut branches that get caught high in the canopy, clearing your work area without needing additional tools. Another key innovation is the striking knife, expertly attached to the blade and handle. Before you begin the main cut, this knife is used to score the bark on the underside of the branch. This vital step creates a clean line, preventing the bark from tearing or stripping as the branch falls away, which is crucial for maintaining the long-term health of the tree.Designed for versatility and longevity, this pole saw features a durable steel tube handle that acts as a secure adaptor. It is engineered to be fitted to a variety of extension poles, allowing you to customize your reach for any job, from trimming low-hanging orchard limbs to managing the high canopy of mature forest trees. This adaptability makes it an indispensable tool for a wide range of forestry and landscaping applications.Detailed Specifications:6 TPI Fileable Toothed Pole Pruning Saw with Steel Tube Handle and Extended Hook Tip 360 mm.For easy reach of higher branches when fitted to Ø25 mm (1´´) extension pole.- 386 with hardpoint teeth and 385 can be filed.- Strong curved blade with 6 TPI.- With steel tube adaptor/handle.- Fits all poles:AP-2.7M, AP-3M, AP-5M and FP-3M.- To be used with Ø25 mm (1´´) extension pole.- Blade tip extended into a hook to prevent the blade from slipping out of the kerf.- Striking knife attached to the blade and handle to cut the bark before sawing through the branch.- Prevents bark stripping. tradeinn Bricoinn
