The Bahco 9631 Long Series Flat Bit is designed for drilling deep, precise holes in wood, especially in hard-to-reach areas. Featuring an extended 400 mm length and an 8 mm cutting diameter, this bit provides improved access in tight spaces and supports accurate work on wooden surfaces. Made from high-carbon steel and heat-treated throughout, the hardened blade is forged directly from the round shaft. Winged shoulders cut the wood and remove material from the centre, delivering a smooth finish and superior swarf clearance. With a positive cutting angle, this long flat bit is intended to drill quickly and extend bit life, while remaining compatible with standard drill chucks.
