Bandai Gundam Gunpla Light-Type Guncannon (1/144) This High Grade 1/144 Light-Type Guncannon kit offers a streamlined variation of a familiar support mobile suit within the Gundam Gunpla range. Based on its appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, the design takes the core elements of the traditional Guncannon and refines them into a lighter, more agile configuration. The kit is moulded in colour and designed for snap-fit assembly, allowing for a clean and straightforward build without the need for glue. The model is built with a focus on flexibility and ease of posing, featuring a movable shoulder-mounted cannon and a good range of articulation across the limbs. It is equipped with a rifle and a sabre, giving it both ranged and close-combat options for display. The inclusion of flat hand parts adds further posing variety, making it easy to achieve expressive and dynamic stances once complete. It feels like a simple but versatile kit with a clean, modern look. 1/144 scale High Grade model kit Snap-fit assembly, no glue required Pre-coloured parts with clean surface detail Includes rifle and sabre weapons Movable shoulder cannon with adjustable angle Flat hand parts for varied posing options Good articulation for dynamic display Includes step-by-step instruction manual History: The Light-Type Guncannon appears in Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX as a variation of the classic Guncannon design. While the original Guncannon was developed as a heavily armed support unit, this lighter version reflects a shift towards improved mobility and versatility. By reducing weight and simplifying certain elements, it adapts the concept for a different combat role while maintaining the recognisable silhouette. This reinterpretation highlights how established mobile suit designs continue to evolve across different Gundam series, keeping them relevant within new storylines and settings.
