UNIVERSAL WOOD PRESERVER - Barrettine Clear Universal Wood Preserver penetrates wood & stone easily and thereby gets deep into inner layers. It is moisture regulating and provides an adhesive surface suitable for glues, fillers, and solvent or water-based finishing treatments such as paints, varnishes, stains and more. DEEP PENETRATING WOOD PRESERVATIVE - This is a ‘colourless’ high-quality, low odour oil/Spirit wood preservative that is deep penetrating. This wax-free primer Wood Preservative is used for wood protection against wood-destroying fungi (wet rot), wood discolouring fungi and wood-boring insects. CLEAR FINISH - The Barrettine Wood Preserver provides a colourless finish as a wood primer for further overcoating with paint or varnish. Quality primer resins for excellent adhesion. INTERIOR & EXTERIOR WOOD TREATMENT - The wood preserver outdoor & indoor be used on untreated wood or treated timber outdoors and also for use on windows/frames, external doors/frames (internal & external sections). Also suitable for structural timbers in indoor unoccupied areas, such as floor joists. EASY APPLICATION - When using the oil based primer as part of a DIY project, use a brush and roller. When using the quick dry preserver professionally, use a brush, dip and roller.
