Barrettine Pure & Natural Tung Oil is 100% natural, non-toxic and ideal for food-safe surfaces like kitchen worktops, children’s toys, and furniture. ENHANCES NATURAL COLOUR - Tung oil enhances the natural beauty of wood by deepening its colour and highlighting its grain. It typically adds a rich, warm tone with a golden-to-amber hue. This colour change is more pronounced on lighter woods, where Tung oil can give a subtle darkening effect. WATER & STAIN RESISTANCE - Barrettine Pure & Natural Tung Oil offers excellent water and stain resistance, adapting to the wood’s natural movement. EASY APPLICATION - Stir thoroughly and decant into paint kettle/scuttle. Apply in thin coats using a short pile roller, good quality brush or lint free cloth. Over-application can reduce the finish quality and prolong drying time. Two coats recommended on bare wood, second/maintenance coats best applied by wiping with a cloth. Remove any excess after each coat with a microfibre cloth for best results. INDOOR & OUTDOOR USE - Whether the project is indoors or outdoors, 3-4 coats are required overall.
