BEAL Escaper: The Revolutionary Retrievable Rappel SystemUnlock new possibilities in alpinism, ski mountaineering, and canyoneering with the BEAL Escaper, an innovative and ultra-lightweight retrievable anchor system. Designed for the minimalist adventurer, this essential piece of climbing equipment solves the classic problem of needing to rappel the full length of your rope without leaving gear behind. Say goodbye to sacrificial slings and maillons and embrace the freedom of efficient, full-length descents. The Escaper allows you to perform a single-rope rappel and then, with a series of distinct tugs, release the system from below and retrieve your entire rope. The primary benefit of the BEAL Escaper is its ability to double your effective rappel distance. By enabling a secure abseil on a single strand, you can now descend a full 50 meters with a 50-meter rope, a feat typically requiring a 100-meter rope or two ropes tied together. This significantly reduces the weight and bulk you carry on long routes, making for faster and more efficient movement in the mountains. Its compact design means it takes up minimal space on your harness or in your pack, making it the perfect addition to any emergency kit or fast-and-light setup. Whether you are navigating a complex glacial descent, bailing from a multi-pitch route, or exploring deep canyons, the Escaper provides a reliable and reusable solution for your abseil needs.Main Features:* Fully Retrievable System: Allows for complete rope and anchor retrieval from the base of a rappel.* Enables Full-Length Rappels: Facilitates abseiling on a single rope strand, effectively doubling your descent length.* Ultra-Lightweight & Compact: An incredibly light and packable design ideal for weight-conscious missions.* Intuitive Release Mechanism: A friction-based system that releases reliably after a specific sequence of pulls on the rope.* High-Visibility Colouring: Brightly coloured for easy identification and handling, even in challenging conditions.* Versatile Application: Perfect for alpinism, ski touring, freeride, canyoneering, or as an emergency bail-out option.Familiarization and practice in a safe, controlled environment are essential to fully understand the Escaper´s function before using it in a critical situation.
