Bedec BEDE2AK2011/40 Barn Paint - Semi-Gloss - Deep Blue - 2.5 Litre

Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based acrylic paint with a semi-gloss finish, designed for a wide range of exterior surfaces. It is suitable for wood, plastic, galvanised steel, brick, concrete and cladding, making it ideal for barns, stables, sheds and other outbuildings. The paint can be applied to surfaces with existing coatings, including weathered bitumen, tar or varnish, and it is self-priming with low odour. Touch dry is achievable in about two hours, with re-coats after four hours, and it can be used on both interior and exterior projects.

The product is available in a 2.5 L volume and can be applied by brush, roller or spray. For untreated weathered wood, new wood, cement render, plaster or other porous substrates, the first coat should be diluted with up to 30% clean water. When knots are present, apply an exterior knot block primer before painting to help prevent staining and ensure a smoother finish.

This paint is designed to resist cracking, blistering and flaking, providing a durable protective coating for exterior surfaces exposed to the elements. It is suitable for a variety of applications, including traditional barns, sheds, stables and other outbuildings, and offers robust colour retention to keep finishes looking good over time.

Usage

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.
