Limited single cask release: a 20-year-old single malt finished in ex-Monthelie white Burgundy casks. Distilled 1995, natural colour and non-chill filtered. Peach melba notes with fresh fruit, oak and spice. Only 366 bottles. Benriach Chieftain's Single Cask #95171 20 year old 46% ABV Nose: Fresh peach, buttery and creamy oak, marzipan, poached pears in vanilla syrup, apple puree, rice pudding with a drop of floral honey, candyfloss green grapes, dusting of icing sugar. Palate: More spicy peach flavours, marzipan, white chocolate, buttery vanill sponge cake, apple chutney, aromatic oak, melon and ginger. Finish: Stewed apple, peach melba, aromatic stock syrup, toasted vanilla, sugared almonds, yellow plums, lasting spice and creamy oak.
