AUTHENTIC BILTONG SPICES: Includes the instruction booklet, traditional South African biltong seasoning, a chilli and garlic seasoning, cider vinegar, marinating bag, wooden skewers and food safe gloves. A GREAT GIFT FOR MEAT LOVERS: Presented in a kraft gift box, this make your own biltong kit is ideal for biltong fans, dads and homemade snack lovers. MADE IN THE UK: Hand packed by Sandy Leaf Farm from natural, GMO free, ethically sourced seasonings. Gluten free and dairy free. AUTHENTIC SOUTH AFRICAN SEASONING: Traditional coriander and black pepper spices with cider vinegar to flavour and tenderise the beef, the way biltong has been made for generations. READY THE SAME DAY: Marinate the beef for 3 to 4 hours, then dry in a normal oven at 80 degrees C for around 3 hours. No days of waiting and no drying box needed. MAKES TWO 500G BATCHES: Enough for a traditional batch and a spicy chilli and garlic batch, or double up on the one you love. You choose how dry and how spicy. HOW DO I KNOW IT IS DONE: Well dried biltong bends without snapping. Dry it longer for firmer biltong, shorter for a softer chew. The booklet covers texture and doneness. STORING YOUR BILTONG: Keep it in an airtight container for a couple of weeks, or refrigerate to extend that. Slice thinly and share, if it lasts that long.
