[HISTORY] This military style double-pass nylon watch band was developed by the British Ministry of Defence in 1973. The requirement was to create a watch band that could handle water, be fitted easily to fixed spring bar watches without the need for tools and would keep the watch secure even if one spring bar broke. What they came up with would soon become a classic strap, used the world over. The great thing about pass-through straps is they are easy to swap around, extremely durable and suit any occasion. [HEAVY DUTY] First and foremost, pass-through watch bands have to be tough. This style of strap is one of the finest examples of form and function working together. The double pass design means the watch stays attached to the wearer’s wrist even if a spring bar breaks, and it allows for bands to be swapped in and out in seconds, with no need for a spring bar tool. [DESIGN] This iconic strap builds on that classic design, keeping the ultra secure double-pass design, but swapping out the cheap ballistic fabric for premium seatbelt nylon. The 316L stainless steel buckle and sewn-in keepers with a matt black PVD finish give these bands a stealthy and tactical look. These straps are available in our three most popular sizes – 18mm, 20mm, and 22mm. [COMFORT] Super smooth 'seat belt' nylon – this is simply the smoothest, strongest and best nylon available on a double-pass strap. Designed for supreme comfort and durability, this strap has an expensive look and feel. Laser-sealed sizing holes and an overbuilt satin black buckle with a 3mm tang help prevent fraying to better withstand daily wear and tear.
