This Bondtech IFS extruder is the successor to the Bondtech Dual Drive Extrusion Upgrade Kit (EXT-KIT-76).The print head can be used with or without the filament sensor. The hardened steel Dual Drive gears give you more choice of materials to work with. This also allows you to work with abrasive materials, where this would otherwise wear out the gears of the original feeder. Another advantage of this IFS extruder is the adjustable tension. The thumb screw tensioner allows you to fine-tune the pressure the drive gears exert on the filament to suit your preferences or the type of material.
