History: The Jagdpanzer IV L/70(A) was introduced in the final phase of the Second World War as part of Germany’s efforts to field more effective anti-tank weapons. Designed with a low profile and heavy frontal armour, it was built by Alkett with a simplified superstructure due to production constraints. Although effective in ambush roles, its front-heavy layout reduced mobility. Despite its limitations, it proved to be a formidable weapon against Allied tanks and was used in several key battles in 1944 and 1945, especially on the Eastern Front. The ‘Last’ version represents the culmination of design revisions before the war's end.
