The Bosch GBH 18V-40 C Professional SDS-Max Rotary Hammer delivers cordless performance with corded capability through BITURBO brushless technology. It offers an optimized power-to-weight ratio via an improved impact mechanism and a capable drive train. The tool supports multiple working modes, Bluetooth connectivity, and optional configuration through the Bosch Toolbox app, and is designed for comfortable, precise drilling and chiselling. It is compatible with Bosch Professional 18V batteries, including ProCORE18V, as well as the AMPShare multi-brand battery alliance, with maximum power achieved using ProCORE18V 8.0 Ah. Features such as LED illumination, variable speed, a lock-on button, and Vario-Lock enhance usability. The device operates with an SDS-Max tool holder and delivers up to 9 Joules of impact energy, suitable for drilling concrete with hammer drill bits in the 12–40 mm range (18–32 mm optional). The unit is provided as a bare tool without battery or charger and includes accessories for basic setup.
