PRODUCER - Boutinot’s love affair with the Southern Rhône spans thirty years of making wine in the region. In 2010, the relationship was sealed with the purchase of a winery and vineyards above the village of Cairanne. TASTING NOTES - A serious, opulent and complex wine. Rich, intense and drenched in dark red fruits. Morello cherry and cinnamon spice on the nose, soft dark plummy fruit, liquorice, chocolate, a hint of black tea on the palate, full flavoured and smooth with supple tannins. A rich, savoury satisfying mouthful that shows greater elegance with air. FOOD PAIRING - Rich, complex and delicious with dishes which take time to prepare: a slow cooked duck cassoulet, or warming beef casserole. FEATURES - Vegetarian, Vegan IDEAL GIFT - This wine makes the ideal gift for a work colleague, friend or simply yourself!
