HOW BOVEDA WORKS FOR Musical Instruments: Boveda 49% RH protects wooden instruments and their accessories by stabilizing moisture in the ideal range - 45-55% RH. If the air inside a housing is too humid, Boveda absorbs this moisture. If it is too dry, Boveda releases small amounts of water vapor into the housing. Wide fluctuations in humidity will cause the wood to expand or shrink, which puts stress on the instrument and degrades its performance capabilities. Choose Boveda: Boveda is the only patented solution for two-way humidity control with over 25 years of experience. By using salt water in our moisture packs, we provide the fastest and most accurate moisture control on the wood instrument market. When investing in an instrument, you want to make sure you take care of it to produce the optimal sound. Boveda is the only moisture solution that can do this in 24-48 hours. HOW TO USE Always insert a Boveda pack into the included Boveda cloth protective holder before using it in an instrument case. Remove the Boveda from the plastic bag before use. Do not cut or open the brown moisture pack. Slide the package into the holder. Place in the case and close the lid. BOVEDA MAKE THE REST. Replace every 3 months. Never mix the 49% with another %RH. This small Boveda kit is intended for: viola players, violin, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, electric bass, electric guitar, clarinet, and oboe. Professional musicians, band and orchestra conductors, instrument technicians, music teachers, hobbyists and student musicians use the Boveda packs for easy and accurate moisture management for instrument storage.
