PRESSURE TREATED TIMBERS: The wood is pressure treated with Tanalith E during manufacture to help prevent rotting and decay from exposure to the elements. Pressure treating forces the protective treatment deeper into the wood so the timbers have a much longer lifespan that stanard treatments typically used on cheaper wooden garden furniture. ANTI-WRAP GROOVING: The timbers are also patterned on the underside with anti-warp grooves to reduce buckling and warping due to temperature changes. Natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
