Because Sri Lankan Ceylon is woody and a little astringent, it's still a tasty caffeine-free tea. We use the CO2 process to keep as much flavour as possible. 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗪𝗲 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄: Our blends are made from tea grown around the world. Each region brings different characteristics to the cup. Our Decaffeinated Tea uses bright, woody, Sri Lankan Ceylon as its base. 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗔 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵: Tea leaves come in many forms, but only one matters to us - rolled whole leaves. Our blends are made using the fresh bud from the top of the tea bush, and the first two leaves. These leaves are the smoothest and sweetest, and rolling them rather than chopping them into dust let's them keep all of their flavour and natural oils. It's like the difference between freeze-dried instant coffee and real, freshly ground coffee beans. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮 𝗔𝘄𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲: The best cups of tea are all about the perfect ratio of leaf to water, temperature, and brewing time. Rolled whole leaves take a minute or two longer to brew but the finished cup is definitely worth the wait. Our tea bags are filled with exactly the same rolled whole leaves you find in our loose leaf tea, and are portioned per blend to match the most popular cup size – 12oz (300ml).
