BG 2 Gang 13A SwItched RCD Socket - White (822RCD-01). The BG Electrical Moulded 822RCD is a white double (2 gang) switched socket with a 30mA RCD, rated at 13A.Part of the moulded round-edge range, the 822RCD is a great value option for a variety of domestic and commercial installations. This switched socket is fitted with a latching integrated RCD, rated at 30mA with a trip speed of 40ms – fast enough to prevent a potentially fatal electric shock. The latching nature of the RCD means that once normal power returns to the socket (for example, after a power cut), the appliance will be switched back on as it was before. This RCD socket is easy to install, being supplied with fixing screws and installation instructions to make it simple to fit into existing backboxes (35mm minimum depth required – 25mm if used with 10mm provided spacer). It is manufactured to BS EN 60669-2-1 and BS 7288 to comply with national building regulations.
