BWT 814560 Extra Filter Cartridges Pack of 6

Bwt 814560 Extra Water Filter Jug 6 Units. Keep your appliances safe and enjoy purer water with BWT Extra water filter cartridges. Designed for hard water (over 15° dH), these filters effectively reduce limescale, protecting your coffee machines and kettles from damage and energy waste. They also tackle heavy metals like lead and copper, plus chlorine, for noticeably softer, better-tasting tap water. Enjoy an extended appliance lifespan and a more refreshing drinking experience. Each cartridge lasts 4 weeks and filters 120L. The mineral calcium occurs in varying concentrations in water and is expressed in °dH (degrees of German hardness). Calcium is not visible, but forms deposits when heated, depending on the degree of hardness. These deposits damage electrical household appliances such as fully automatic coffee machines, coffee makers, water and tea boilers. The BWT filter cartridge Soft Filtered Water Extra is specially designed to treat water with a very high degree of hardness (over 15° dH). The reliable reduction of water hardness protects household appliances from limescale deposits. The specially developed filter also reduces heavy metals (such as lead, copper) as well as odour- and taste-disturbing substances such as chlorine. This turns tap water into noticeably softer water for unrestricted enjoyment. Protecting household appliances:- Lime-containing water leaves unsightly limescale deposits in household appliances such as kettles or coffee machines. This not only leads to poorer heat transfer and thus to increased energy consumption, but also to the fact that the function of the appliances is impaired and their service life is shortened. In addition, limescale deposits favour the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria.Features:- Optimum appliance protection for household appliances such as coffee machines and kettles: Reduces the limescale content of the water- Reduces odour and taste-disturbing substances such as chlorine as well as organic impurities- Reduces particles > 200 μm (sand, particles from the tap) and heavy metals (lead and copper)- Convenient subscription - save on shipping costs!
