Engineered for demanding skiers who refuse to compromise, this helmet combines a sleek, low-profile design with cutting-edge safety technologies, allowing you to push your limits on the slopes with complete confidence. Whether you´re carving down groomed pistes, exploring powder-filled bowls, or navigating challenging off-piste terrain, the Rise II MIPS® is your essential partner for every descent. The standout feature of this helmet is the integrated MIPS® Brain Protection System. This revolutionary low-friction layer is designed to reduce the dangerous rotational forces transmitted to the brain during angled impacts. By allowing the head to move slightly inside the helmet at the moment of a crash, MIPS® adds a superior level of protection against the types of impacts most commonly associated with skiing, significantly enhancing your on-mountain safety.Built using an advanced In-Mold construction, the Rise II MIPS® achieves an impressively low weight without sacrificing an ounce of durability or impact resistance. This process fuses the outer shell directly to the inner foam liner, creating a single, lightweight yet incredibly robust structure. The result is a helmet so light and comfortable, you´ll forget you´re even wearing it, reducing fatigue and allowing you to focus purely on your performance.Experience personalized climate control with the helmet´s adjustable active ventilation system. Strategically placed vents can be easily opened or closed, even with gloves on, giving you the power to manage airflow and regulate your temperature. Stay cool and dry during intense runs and high-exertion efforts, then seal the vents to retain warmth on cold chairlift rides or in biting winds.A perfect fit is crucial for both safety and comfort, and the Rise II MIPS® excels with its precise Wheel Fit System. This intuitive dial at the back of the helmet allows for quick, easy, and accurate micro-adjustments, ensuring a snug and secure fit for a wide range of head shapes. The helmet also features V-Fit design ear pads, which are ergonomically shaped and hollowed out to provide exceptional comfort without impeding your hearing. The hypoallergenic inner lining is fully removable and washable, making it easy to keep your helmet fresh and clean throughout the season. A secure goggle clip at the rear ensures your eyewear stays in place. The Cairn Rise II MIPS Ski Helmet is designed for those seeking reliable protection and comfort on the slopes. Suitable for both men and women, this helmet combines safety features with practical adjustability. Its lightweight construction, weighing approximately 460 grams, ensures it is comfortable to wear throughout the day. This helmet incorporates Inmould technology, where the outer shell is fused with the impact-absorbing EPS liner. This method provides effective shock absorption while keeping the helmet slim and robust. The inclusion of the MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) adds an extra layer of safety by reducing rotational forces during angled impacts. Fit is easily customised using the Wheel fit system. This allows for quick and precise sizing adjustments, contributing to a secure and comfortable fit. The V-fit system ensures that the shape of the helmet conforms well around the head, offering additional stability without compromising comfort. Ventilation is managed by adjustable vents, enabling the wearer to regulate airflow according to skiing conditions and personal preference. This feature helps to maintain comfort by preventing overheating during active use. For added convenience, the inner lining is removable. This facilitates straightforward cleaning and maintenance, which is essential for hygiene and longevity. Safety features extend beyond impact protection. The helmet is equipped with a RECCO reflector, a passive rescue system that can be detected by search teams in case of an avalanche, adding an important element of security in challenging environments. Closure and fastening are managed with Fidlock magnetic buckles, a user-friendly solution that simplifies putting on and taking off the helmet, even when wearing gloves.
