Designed for discerning craftsmen and dedicated DIYers, these 125 mm sanding discs deliver exceptional performance, durability, and a flawless finish on a wide variety of materials. Whether you are preparing woodwork for a perfect coat of varnish, smoothing soft metals, or undertaking detailed work on boats, these abrasive discs are engineered to exceed expectations. This 50-unit pack ensures you have a reliable supply for extensive projects, providing outstanding value and consistent results from the first disc to the last.Achieve an ultra-smooth surface with unparalleled efficiency. The key to this disc´s superior performance lies in its advanced abrasive technology. The semi-friable aluminum oxide grain is designed for an extended working life, as it wears, the grain fractures to expose new, sharp cutting edges. This self-sharpening action ensures a consistent and effective sanding rate throughout the life of the disc, preventing premature dulling and reducing the frequency of disc changes. This long-life characteristic not only saves you time and effort but also makes each disc more cost-effective in the long run. The fine 240 grit is perfect for final sanding passes, removing minor imperfections, and creating an impeccably smooth foundation for paints, stains, and clear coats.Engineered for the demands of power tools, these sanding discs are built to last. The abrasive grains are secured with a robust resin-on-resin binder, which is highly resistant to the heat and pressure generated by random orbital sanders and polishers. This prevents grain shedding and ensures the disc maintains its integrity even during intensive use. The backing is a heavy-duty F-weight paper , offering superior tear resistance and stability compared to lighter papers. This robust construction ensures the disc remains flat and effective, allowing you to apply consistent pressure for uniform results. The high-quality hook and loop self-adhesive laminate provides a secure, vice-like grip to your sander´s backing pad, yet allows for quick and effortless disc changes, maximizing your productivity and minimizing downtime. These discs are perfectly compatible with any 125 mm (5-inch) random orbital sander or polisher that uses an 8-hole dust extraction system. The precisely placed 8-hole pattern aligns with standard sander bases to efficiently channel dust away from the work surface. This superior dust extraction leads to a cleaner work environment, provides a clearer view of your workpiece, and prevents clogging of the abrasive surface, which further extends the disc´s effective lifespan and enhances the quality of your finish. As a critical step before buffing, using this 240-grit disc with your sander or polisher is ideal for preparing surfaces for a final, mirror-like polish.Features:- Grain: Ao Semi-Friable Long Life Aluminum Oxide- Binder: Resin On Resin- Backing: Paper F +/- 270 G/M2- Adhesion: High Quality Hook And Loop Self-Adhesive Laminate- Applications: Ideal for Final Sanding on Wood, Hard Wood, Soft Metals, and Marine/Boat Surfaces.Specifications:- Measures: Ø 125mm, 240 Grit and 8 Holes- Diameter (Ø): 125 mm- Grain (Grit): 240- No. Of Holes: 8. tradeinn Bricoinn
