The primary benefit lies in their extended working life, which significantly reduces the frequency of disc changes, saving you valuable time and money on any project. Their versatile nature allows you to move seamlessly between different materials, from preparing hardwood for finishing to smoothing soft metals for fabrication. The aggressive yet uniform 80-grit cut quickly removes stock, levels surfaces, and prepares them for finer grits, ensuring a highly efficient workflow from start to finish. The robust construction prevents tearing and shredding, even when tackling tough applications and edges.Engineered for Excellence: Core FeaturesThese discs are crafted with a meticulous selection of premium components to deliver unparalleled performance.- Grain: Ao Semi-Friable Long Life Aluminum Oxide. This advanced grain structure is designed to fracture under pressure, constantly exposing new, sharp cutting edges. This self-sharpening action maintains an aggressive cut rate and dramatically extends the disc´s usable life compared to conventional aluminum oxide.- Binder: A powerful Resin On Resin bond securely anchors the abrasive grains to the backing. This dual-layer resin system provides exceptional resistance to heat and moisture, preventing grain shedding and ensuring consistent performance under the high-speed friction of a power sander.- Backing: A robust and flexible F-weight Paper Backing provides the ideal balance of strength and adaptability. It resists tearing and punctures while conforming to the contours of your workpiece for a uniform finish.- Adhesion: The High-Quality Hook And Loop Self-Adhesive Laminate ensures a secure, non-slip grip to your sander´s backing pad. This system allows for rapid, effortless disc changes, streamlining your process when moving between grits or replacing a worn disc.Versatile ApplicationsThe 80-grit coarseness and durable build make these ABRASIENNE discs a workhorse for a wide range of tasks. They are expertly suited for:- Woodworking: Ideal for aggressive sanding on both hard and soft woods. Perfect for dimensioning timber, removing old paint or varnish, shaping furniture components, and preparing surfaces for joinery.- Metal Finishing: Excellent for sanding soft metals such as aluminum, brass, and copper. Use them to remove imperfections, deburr edges, or create a clean, uniform surface before using a polisher for the final shine.- Marine and Boat Building: A reliable choice for boat maintenance, including sanding fiberglass hulls, fairing compounds, and preparing wooden trim for marine-grade sealants and paints.Technical Specifications- Product Code: KE.RR150/8.80- Diameter (Ø): 150 mm- Grit: 80- Number Of Holes: 8- Measures: Ø 150mm. 80 Grit And 8 Holes- Dust Extraction: The 8-hole pattern is configured for efficient dust extraction with compatible sanders, leading to a cleaner work environment, improved visibility, and reduced clogging for a longer disc life.Upgrade your sanding and surface preparation capabilities with the ABRASIENNE KE.RR150/8.80 Self-Adhesive Paper Disc pack.
