Engineered for aggressive material removal, performance, and exceptional durability, this pack of 50 discs is the ideal choice for professionals and discerning DIY enthusiasts who demand efficiency and a superior foundation for their finish on a variety of materials. Whether you are stripping old paint, shaping wood, or preparing metal surfaces, these discs deliver consistent and reliable performance. At the heart of these discs is the advanced Ao Semi-Friable Long Life Aluminum Oxide grain. This high-performance abrasive material is designed to be exceptionally durable and self-sharpening. As you work, the semi-friable grain fractures under pressure, constantly exposing new, sharp cutting edges. This ensures a consistent, aggressive cut rate from start to finish, significantly extending the disc´s operational lifespan and reducing the need for frequent changes. This technology means you get more work done per disc, saving both time and money on your projects.Built to withstand demanding applications, each disc features a robust Resin on Resin binder system. This dual-layer of heat-resistant resin securely anchors the aluminum oxide grain to the backing, providing excellent grain retention and preventing shedding, even during intensive sanding that generates significant heat. This is complemented by a heavy-duty F-weight paper backing , which offers superior tear resistance and dimensional stability. This tough construction ensures the disc remains intact and performs reliably under high pressure and on challenging or uneven surfaces.Experience a seamless workflow and rapid disc changes thanks to the high-quality hook and loop self-adhesive laminate. This backing provides a secure, reliable grip to the backing pad of your random orbit sander or polisher, preventing slippage and ensuring maximum power transfer to the sanding surface. When it's time for a new disc, it detaches cleanly and easily, minimizing downtime and keeping your project moving forward without interruption.Versatile Applications for Coarse SandingThe ABRASIENNE KE.RR150.60 is an indispensable accessory for a wide range of tasks. The coarse 60-grit is perfect for rapid material removal, aggressive shaping, leveling uneven surfaces, and stripping old, stubborn finishes. It excels in applications such as:* Woodworking: Ideal for leveling rough-sawn lumber, quickly removing mill marks, shaping hardwoods like oak and maple, and preparing surfaces for intermediate sanding grits.* Metalworking: Effectively sands soft metals like aluminum and brass, removing imperfections, deburring edges, and preparing for finishing or polishing.* Marine and Boat Repair: Perfect for boat maintenance, stripping multiple layers of old paint and varnish from fiberglass or wooden hulls, and preparing surfaces for new coatings.Designed for Your ToolsThese 150 mm discs are universally compatible with most random orbit sanders and polisher tools from major brands that utilize a hook and loop system. The solid, no-hole design is ideal for applications where dust extraction through the pad is not required, offering maximum surface contact area and enhanced structural integrity for the most aggressive sanding jobs.Technical SpecificationsHere are the detailed features and specifications that define the premium quality of the ABRASIENNE KE.RR150.60 disc:Features:* Grain: Ao Semi-Friable Long Life Aluminum Oxide* Binder: Resin On Resin* Backing: Paper F +/- 270 G/M2* Attachment: High Quality Hook And Loop Self-Adhesive Laminate* Applications: Sanding On Wood, Hard Wood, Soft Metals, Boats.Specifications:* Measures: Ø 150mm. 60 Grit And No Holes* Ø (Mm): 150* Grain: 60. tradeinn Bricoinn
