Cantine Pellegrino is one of Sicily’s most important and prosperous wineries. Today they are one of very few families who can trace their lineage back to the original 19th Century founders of the Marsala trade. Pellegrino have also utilised their winemaking expertise in producing unfortified white and red wines from the Marsala region. The family has always recognised the importance and uniqueness of the regions terroir and their indigenous Sicilian grape varieties. Gibele is a white wine made purely from Zibibbo grapes; dry and fresh, with intense aromas of jasmine, green apples and citron. Intense aroma of jasmine and lavender, with hints of green apples and citrons. On the palate, this wine is dry and fresh, with a long lingering taste of citrus fruit, yellow peaches and green apples.
