Limited 30-year-old single malt from a second-fill cask aged since 1995, bottled at natural strength; only 150 bottles released. A waxy, honeyed, old-school profile with depth and elegance, smooth, lingering finish. Caperdonich (silent) Whiskyland Chapter 38 'Gone Grant' Single Malt Scotch 30 year old 49.9% ABV Nose: A wealth of green, yellow and sligthly overripe exotic fruits, balanced by a big, textural impression of various honeys, a lot of classical waxiness, and greener, sharper notes which maintain freshness and vibrancy. Palate: Really creamy, waxy, some drying peppery notes, cedar and sandalwood qualities, dried herbs, eucalyptus, lemon rind and dried exotic fruit notes. Luscious, mouth filling and beautiful. Finish: Medium length, dominated by drier waxy notes, crystalised honey, warming hints of vanilla, dried banana chips and camphor.
