Callabriga is a smooth and fruity red from the Douro region in the north-west of Portugal. Depp ruby in colour with notes of red and black berries, vanilla, coconut and toast on the nose. On the palate it is full and fruity, with good acidity, high quality tannins, black fruit flavours and a hint of cocoa on the finish. Aged in French and American oak (75% and 25% respectively) for 12-18 months Serve at room temperature with roasted meat or grilled steak
