They are designed to be critically balanced, meaning the weight of the hookbait itself is perfectly counteracted by the weight of your hook. The result is a hookbait that hovers delicately just above your loose feed, mimicking a natural piece of food that has been disturbed. This wafting action makes it incredibly easy for a feeding fish to inhale the bait, leading to more confident takes and superior hook holds. Unlike standard pop ups which can sit unnaturally high, or bottom baits that can get lost in silt or low-lying weed, these wafters present flawlessly over virtually any lakebed.Key Features for Unmatched Performance:* Critically Balanced Buoyancy: Each wafter is engineered for consistent performance, creating a slow-sinking, hovering presentation that fish find irresistible.* Perfectly Matched Colour: The deep, dark brown/black colour flawlessly imitates the appearance of standard halibut, trout, and other feed pellets, ensuring your hookbait blends seamlessly with your loose feed and arouses no suspicion.* Durable & Needle-Friendly: The robust skin ensures the wafter can withstand the attention of nuisance fish and repeated casting, yet it remains soft enough to be easily pierced by a baiting needle without splitting.* Versatile Dumbbell Shape: The unique 10x12mm and 12x14mm dumbbell profile offers a different look from traditional round baits and is ideal for mounting with bait bands, floss, or on a hair rig.Technical Specifications:* Product: CC Moore Halibut Pellet Wafters* Category: Lures* Subcategory: Natural baits* Buoyancy Profile: Critically Balanced Wafter (distinct from standard Pop Ups)* Shape: Dumbbell* Colour: Dark Brown / Black* Quantity: Approx. 60 baits per potWhether you are building a solid PVA bag presentation, fishing a method feeder, or simply casting a single hookbait over a scattering of pellets, the CC Moore Halibut Pellet Wafters give you the confidence that your rig is presented perfectly every time.
