The Champion RC8VTYC4 is part of the Champion Copper Plus range.Champion Copper Plus is the classic copper-cored spark plug. The copper core inside the nickel-alloy centre electrode draws heat away from the tip, widening the range of driving conditions the plug tolerates without fouling or overheating. Champion's heat-range letter and number system dates back decades, so Copper Plus types are the natural replacement on classic cars, motorcycles, marine and garden engines originally fitted with Champion, as well as being the standard service plug on many later vehicles. Easy to gap and inspect, with a rugged construction that suits engines running rich or being started infrequently.Heat (NGK scale) is our conversion of the Champion heat number onto the NGK scale, so plugs from different makers can be compared on one hot-to-cold ladder.
