UV PROTECTIVE CANOPY: The canopy has a diameter of 2-metres and is made from durable 180g polyester with a UV 30+ rating to protect you from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays. An air vent allows air to circulate more freely when you’re relaxing beneath it to keep you cool in hot, humid weather. It also protects the parasol from being pulled up and over by the wind. CRANK HANDLE & TILTING MECHANISM: The parasol has a crank handle to easily raise and lower the canopy. Simply turn the handle clockwise to open the canopy and anticlockwise when you want to close it. It also has a tilt mechanism on the pole to tilt the canopy left or right. Perfect for blocking out the sun as it rises, sets, and moves throughout the day. STEEL POLE & FIBREGLASS RIBS: The Shanghai has a steel pole which is heavier than an aluminium pole for extra strength and stability.
