CKB LTD Bee House - Natural Wood Habitat Bumblebee nesting Shelter 29 x 17 15.5cm with Rustic Bark hinged roof, divided area and ventilation holes

A sheltered nesting space for bumblebees - Create a welcoming spot for queen bumblebees with this natural wooden bumblebee house. Designed to provide a protected nesting environment, it makes a practical addition to wildlife-friendly gardens, flower beds and other quiet outdoor areas. Natural wood with a rustic bark roof - Made from natural wood and finished with a textured bark roof, the bumblebee house has an attractive rustic appearance that blends naturally into garden surroundings. The overhanging roof also helps provide additional shelter for the nesting area inside. Purpose-designed internal compartments - The interior features divided sections to create a separate entrance route and nesting area. A small amount of dry natural bedding such as dried moss, soft straw or suitable untreated nesting fibres can be placed inside to help prepare the nesting compartment for use. Lift-up roof for easy access - The hinged roof opens to provide convenient access to the interior when setting up or checking the house. A simple wooden toggle fastening helps keep the roof securely closed, while ventilation openings encourage airflow through the wooden structure. Position the house in a quiet, sheltered location with some morning sun and protection from strong afternoon heat, wind and heavy rain. Raising it slightly above ground level can also help keep the wooden structure away from damp soil.
