Made by the malting of organic cereal grains, it retains their natural sweetness and characteristics. MADE BY TRADITIONAL MALTING — RICE & MALTED BARLEY — Ingredients: organically grown rice (83%) and malted barley. Organic grains are sprouted to release naturally occurring digestive enzymes, breaking down the cereal's starches into natural sugars to create a deliciously flavoured syrup with a balance of maltose and other sugars. GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO REFINED SUGAR — FOR DRINKS, BAKING & DESSERTS — Use to sweeten hot drinks, as a topping on pancakes and porridge, or for making homemade granola. Milder in sweetness than sugar, honey, or maple syrup — less likely to overpower the taste of other foods.
