All transceivers are quality-tested and new goods from the factory with distribution in Munich. Modules are individually wrapped. The dimensions of the SFP modules are 8.5 x 13.4 x 56.5 mm and can be plugged in and unplugged during operation, so they are hot-swappable. Small Form-factor Pluggable are miniaturized Gigabit Interface Converters (GBIC) for network connections. SFP modules form the physical interface between the transmission medium and gigabit.
