Continental Easy Tape High-Pressure Rim Tape (Set of 2)Category: Wheels and TyresSubcategory: RepairAttribute: Rim TapesProtect your ride from the inside out with the Continental Easy Tape, the definitive solution for superior inner tube protection and wheel reliability. Designed for cyclists who demand performance and peace of mind, this high-pressure rim tape is an essential component for any wheelset, providing a robust barrier between your inner tube and the sharp edges of the rim bed and spoke nipples. Say goodbye to frustrating, unnecessary punctures caused by internal wheel components and ride with the confidence that only a premium brand like Continental can offer. The primary benefit of the Continental Easy Tape is its exceptional durability and pressure resistance. Engineered to handle high inflation pressures, it ensures that the tape does not stretch, deform, or push into the spoke holes, which is a common point of failure for lesser-quality rim tapes. This stability is crucial for road cyclists and performance riders who run their tyres at high PSI to achieve lower rolling resistance and optimal speed. By maintaining its form under pressure, the Easy Tape provides a consistently smooth and secure surface for your inner tube, drastically reducing the risk of pinch flats and abrasion-related failures.Installation is brilliantly simple, living up to its Easy Tape name. Unlike messy adhesive tapes that can be difficult to align and leave a sticky residue, this is a closed-loop, non-adhesive tape. It is designed to be stretched over the rim and snapped securely into the rim channel. This method ensures perfect alignment over the spoke holes every time and allows for quick, clean removal and re-installation during tyre changes or wheel maintenance. This user-friendly design makes it a favorite among both professional mechanics and home DIY enthusiasts.Key Features:* Superior Inner Tube Protection: Creates a strong, reliable barrier over spoke holes and the inner rim bed to prevent punctures from within.* High-Pressure Rated: Specifically designed to withstand high inflation pressures without stretching or failing, making it ideal for road and performance bikes.* Effortless & Clean Installation: The non-adhesive, elasticated design allows the tape to be easily stretched over the rim for a perfect, secure fit without any sticky mess.* Durable and Long-Lasting: Built to endure countless miles and multiple tyre changes, offering a dependable, long-term solution for your wheelset.* Smooth Surface: Features a smooth finish that is gentle on inner tubes, reducing friction and the potential for wear and tear over time.* Convenient Set: Packaged as a set of two, providing everything you need to outfit a complete front and rear wheelset. This Continental Easy Tape is the perfect choice for upgrading your stock rim strips or completing a new wheel build.
