Corgi VA14602 Volkswagen Type 2 Transporter Delivery Van, BRS Truck Rental, White

Corgi Vanguards Commercial Series Volkswagen Type 2 (T2) Transporter Delivery Van, BRS Truck Rental (1/43) VA14602 This 1/43 scale model by Corgi represents a rare addition to the British Road Services fleet — the Volkswagen Type 2 Transporter van, finished in authentic BRS Truck Rental livery. Produced in early 1975, this T2 van is a faithful replica of one of just six examples acquired by BRS, at a time when the company primarily operated British-made diesel vans like the Ford Transit. Volkswagen’s rear-mounted petrol engine and more car-like driving experience offered an alternative to conventional commercial vehicles of the time. 1/43 scale die-cast model by Corgi Vanguards VW T2 Transporter with BRS Truck Rental livery Accurate 1975 detailing including paint and badging Die-cast metal body with plastic interior and trim Ideal for collectors of classic commercials and British motoring history Manufactured in Hanover, Germany, the second-generation Type 2 retained Volkswagen’s distinctive rear-engine configuration while introducing improved size and performance. This model celebrates a little-known chapter in UK van hire history and is a superb addition to any die-cast collection focusing on transport heritage.
