This 4ft LED replacement tube from Crompton Lamps has been designed throughout to provide a safe, bright alternative to standard fluorescent T8 tubes that is both easier to install and more energy efficient.The tube employs Surface Mounted Diode (SMD) LED technology to deliver a clean, bright light that illuminates a range of spaces just as capably as existing fluorescent tubes, albeit more efficiently and reliably. The tube's linear circuit board is adorned with a series of LED chips that sit within a protective, cylindrical glass shell. The use of glass - rather than plastic - prevents the tube from bending, warping or discolouring over time.A diffused inner coating disperses the light within an optimal 320 beam angle and removes the need for a separate reflector, or the harmful substances commonly found in fluorescent tubes. Each tube carries a 2 year SimplyLED warranty as standard, alongside a 5 year manufacturer's warranty.Each tube features a single-ended circuit that makes installation as simple and risk free as possible. However, despite this we would still recommend that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician to ensure the best results.Available in 2ft, 3ft, 4ft, 5ft or 6ft T8 lengths, along with a range of Warm White, Cool White or Daylight colour options.
