It is water-repellent, helping to prevent wood cracking and splitting, and becomes showerproof in less than an hour. The formulation includes algicide to help protect against green algae and mould growth. When dry, it is safe for plants and pets. Typical coverage is about 20 m² with two coats, with an average drying time of 2–6 hours depending on surface and weather conditions. A recommended application is 2–3 coats. The stain is designed to provide lasting weather protection for garden wood surfaces.
