Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Stain in Urban Slate is a water-based finish designed for softwood timber decking. It combines a rich, semi-transparent dark grey colour with safety features that help maintain the wood’s natural grain. The product uses a double-action formulation with invisible anti-slip microbeads to enhance underfoot traction while preserving appearance. An integrated algicide helps protect the film surface from green algae and mould growth, helping the deck look cleaner for longer. The stain becomes showerproof in suitable conditions after drying and is suitable for use on various garden woods. For best results, apply 2 to 3 even coats along the wood grain, allowing 2-6 hours drying time between coats, to achieve coverage of up to 20m². The finish is durable and weather resistant, providing practical protection without compromising style.
